Lamson Fire Santoku Knife 5"

Made from the very best German Steel, our full-tang Premier Forged blades are polished and sharpened in our Massachusetts facilities. Handles of exotic imported hardwoods and acrylics are assembled to the blades with triple rivets and then the knives are processed and sharpened to perfection.

The Santoku is a general-purpose kitchen knife similar to the chefs knife. The blade of the Santoku is not as curved as a chefs knife, resulting in more of a chopping motion instead of a rocking motion. It performs well at slicing, dicing, and mincing.

A Kullenschliff (K) edge, also known as a Granton- or Hollow-Edge, is designed to create an air pocket between the food and the blade, helping to prevent sticking.
